Complete this form if you have any questions concerning the registration of a band for the Convention
75th Australian Jazz Convention
The Australian Jazz Convention was established in 1946 to create an opportunity for Australian Jazz musicians and fans to gather and celebrate their music. For 74 years the AJC moved across Australia enabling musicians and delegates to gather in different communities.
Albury is proud to welcome the 75th AJC. On 26th December 2021, the 75th AJC will transform Albury, NSW, into the centre of Australian Jazz for one fantastic week as it did in 2019.
The 75th AJC will present premium Australian jazz across venues in the centre of the border city. With the support of the Albury Commercial Club, who have generously provided the majority of our venues and will host our Welcome Night and NYE Party, and Albury City Council the 75th AJC promises a number of special events that will welcome seasoned conventioneers and those new to our celebration of jazz of all styles.
At the 74th AJC we had the privilege of hosting two wonderful guests from New Orleans. At this stage, we are unsure if the 75th will host a guest artist.
Musicians can only be registered in ten bands. If a musician is registered in more than ten bands they will be asked to nominate bands that they should be removed from. Should it be necessary musicians who exceed the ten band limit will be removed from the last registered band.
As we head toward the 75th AJC this site and the Australian Jazz Convention Facebook page will provide you with all you need to know to join the week-long jazz party.
