Registrations

The Australian Jazz Convention is for paid, registered attendees only - but registration is open to everyone and we welcome anyone who is interested in hearing or playing different types of jazz. Day/Session Passes can be purchased on the day. The AJC has different types of registration available so please ensure you select the correct one! If you register and pay under the incorrect category, you will be identified and required to pay the correct fee on arrival.

Registration Types

Musician RegistrationApplies to musicians who are performing in at least one registered band at the convention. Musicians must register & pay - simply being listed in a registered band does not mean you have registered for the convention. Are you a musician under 25?? The registration is at no cost to you however if under 18 you will need a chaperone (qualifies for reduced registration fee). All other costs will be solely covered by you and/or your chaperone. Only one chaperone registration at the reduced rate for a musician under 18 is available for each student musician. ***Register under the 26th of December option*** Musicians who do not have a band to play with but who want to attend are welcome, and may register as a musician, however you must be vouched for by another recognised and registered musician. Delegate Registration For non-playing jazz lovers, partners, children, etc. ***Register under the 26th of December option***

Session/Day Passes For visitors who wish to sample the Convention for a day or two without committing to the whole week. Welcome Night & New Year's Eve As the Dubbo RSL are charging us a Public Holiday Catering surcharge for the Welcome Night and New Year’s Eve, we are having to charge a small amount for attendance at those functions. If you are attending either or both of those functions, you must register and pay for those in addition to your convention registration. If you are not planning to attend those functions, you can disregard. You will be able to register and pay for Welcome Night and New Year's Eve at the convention, but for catering numbers we would love you to book ahead!
